Doris R. Muscarella, FRP – President
Doris Muscarella is currently a Florida Registered Paralegal with over 30+ years in the legal industry. From in-take to trial and/or settlement, she has experience in Federal & Civil Litigation in the areas of Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury as well as Appeals and Corporate Law. At this time, she is working in the Legal department of Unified Physician Management as a Corporate Paralegal. Doris is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, South Palm Beach County Bar Association and Florida Speakers Association.
Mary Cramer-Scharlatt, CP – 1st Vice President and Parliamentarian
Mary is the First Vice President and Parliamentarian of the Boca Raton Chapter of PAF. Formerly a Florida Registered Paralegal and still a Certified Paralegal and member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (“NALA”), Mary studied Law at Nova Southeastern University where she received 4 advanced specialty designations in Legal Studies covering the areas of Litigation & Advocacy, Business Entities, Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning, and Real Estate Practice & Procedure. She has been a member of the legal community since 1990, working in publicly-traded and privately held corporations, as well as the classical law firm of Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. in West Palm Beach. Mary is currently employed with The TechnoWise Group, Inc., a privately held energy conservation company, in Boca Raton with worldwide patents providing energy and cost saving solutions in residential, commercial and industrial markets.
Melissa Rivera, CP, FRP – Treasurer & 2nd Vice President
Melissa is the Treasurer and 2nd Vice President of the Boca Raton Chapter of PAF. She is a Florida Registered Paralegal and a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants. Melissa started her career in 1991 and has worked primarily in the area of family law. She is currently a paralegal at Gladstone & Weissman, P.A. and has extensive experience assisting attorneys who discreetly represent high net worth individuals (CEO’s, professionals, athletes and public figures) in complex divorce litigation, as well as child custody, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements and other family law matters. Melissa also works closely with many local forensic accountants and assists with the identification, tracing and characterization of various marital and non-marital assets in complex property cases.
Elisa L. Clark, ACP, FRP – Secretary
Elisa Clark is the Secretary of the Boca Raton Chapter of PAF. She is a Florida Registered Paralegal and Advanced Certified Paralegal in Estate Planning. She is currently a paralegal at Steinberg Garellek where she primarily works on estate planning and probate matters. Elisa received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida.
Gail Lanning, CP – Meeting Coordinator
Hailing from Hopewell, NJ, Gail L. Lanning has been an Executive Assistant at Stoltz Companies, property development and headquarters for Brewzzi Italian American Microbrewery, for the past thirteen years. A lifelong student, Gail received the CP designation in 2006, but her interest is in health and fitness. She has a Bachelor of Science in Alternative Medicine, is a Licensed Massage Therapist, National Board Certified Reflexologist, and Certified Health Coach. Gail lives in Delray Beach with three well-behaved felines and is a fan of traditional jazz. She was the meeting coordinator from 2007-2009 and from 2012 to present.
